Help Karen receive medication for ALS
Thank you for taking the time to read this message. After much time of struggling with unexplained symptoms of weakness and physical limitations, my mother, Karen Mickett, was diagnosed with ALS in early 2020. My mother is continuing to keep a positive attitude, and is committed to living her life to the fullest each day. Her spirit and bravery have truly been
inspiring.
Her doctor recently recommended a
medication that has been shown to slow the
progression of the disease, but unfortunately
it is costly. As a family, we decided to begin
fundraising efforts so that we can assist our
mother as much and as long as possible with
this medication, which we are hopeful will
help her continue to share her love and good
spirit!
