Karen Kauffman, a beloved member of the Mifflin County, PA, community lost her husband, Lance, unexpectedly on Monday, September 7, 2026; a Labor Day no one should have to experience.

Lance was a life-long Dairy Farmer who spent the majority of his life supplying milk to thousands of Americans across the country. Dairy farming takes a real toll on the body, and sadly owning your own dairy farm comes with the ultimate price.

No benefits, no retirement pensions.

As we all know, Karen has a heart of gold, and this was truly something she was not prepared for.

We are asking for donations in memory of Lance to assist with the financial burden of not just the funeral expenses, but also living expenses as we prepare for colder months in Pennsylvania.
