Karen Hazlip has spent her life caring for others — now it’s time for us to care for her.

Karen is currently in the hospital facing a critical health battle. She needs a life-saving heart transplant and is also experiencing serious kidney complications. Her condition is severe, and the road ahead includes long hospital stays, surgeries, and intensive recovery.

Karen has faithfully worked for years as a housekeeper, serving families and individuals all over our community with kindness, humility, and dedication. She’s not one to ask for help — she’s always been the helper. But now, she can’t work, she’s unable to pay her bills, and she’s at risk of losing everything she’s worked for while fighting just to stay alive.

We’re raising funds to support Karen through this medical crisis, to help cover:

• Medical bills related to her heart transplant and kidney care

• Rent and living expenses while she’s unable to work

• Long-term recovery and rehabilitation needs
