I met my dear friend Karen about 10 years ago when she moved into the rental home next to my property, and we quickly became close. Over the years, Karen has always been someone I could count on, and her warmth and generosity have touched many lives. She has faced more than her share of hardship, and now she needs our help.

Karen has spent years caring for both of her adult daughters, each of whom suffered from serious illnesses. Tragically, her eldest daughter passed away, and her younger daughter has been extremely ill as well. The emotional and financial toll of these challenges has been immense, and Karen is now in a financial crisis. To make matters worse, her vehicle, which is more than 20 years old, has broken down. Without reliable transportation, she’s unable to get to work, run errands, or get to important medical appointments. The cost of repairs may be too high, and she may need to buy a reliable used car instead. Despite everything, Karen continues to do her best to stay hopeful.
