https://drive.google.com/file/d/13tge9BIHapqT4OzEBpuOEy3ezZZ2jaMj/view  Los Angeles Trade Technical College (LATTC) Student and RISE Club Member Karen Hernandez  is a full time student and an advocate for the dreamer and undocumented community.  At this moment, she is working for the LATTC Dream Resource Center, but only works part time, which barley covers her rent and school fees.

Unfortunately, she is now in the process of deportation. She attended her last court meeting on August 3, 2019 and her attorney did not show up to court.  The Judge asked Karen to be prepared with $3,000 bail money to start her voluntary deportation procedures.Next October 16, she needs to be in court again.

Karen is a student at Los Angeles Trade Technical College and  mother of two boys, ages 12 and 16.  Her goal is to reunify her family by gaining custody of her two children.  She wants to be part of their lives and become a role model for them.

Her goal here at Trade Tech is to transfer to a four year university with a major of Urban Planning and Public Policy.  Later on she would like to become an attorney to help people in her community that have gone through the same struggles as she has.

Please consider making a donation to help Karen fight against deportation.  If you're unable to donate and feel like you want to help,  passing this message along will help tremendously!
