Help Karen Ewart Heal and Thrive

Friends of Karen Ewart are reaching out to let others know she has been quite ill, hospitalized and in acute rehab since before Thanksgiving.

She has been diagnosed with Autoimmune Encephalitis, which presents with many difficult challenges. After weeks of treatment, she could be released from rehab to family soon, as she is not able to live independently at this time.

A few friends are reaching out and inviting others to chip in if you are able to give Karen and family some support while they sort out next steps. Far too often, these illnesses change our life plans in a heartbeat. If anyone has priced professional in home services, even for a short term, these can be life saving for individuals and families, but are so expensive.

To help provide Karen and family room to speak with additional specialists and seek proper resources for her care going forward, we have set a goal of $22000.
