Hi, my name is Karen. My dad has been given only a few months to live, and I’m trying to raise enough money to travel from Calgary to Toronto and stay nearby so I can be with him during this time.

It’s been a very hard year emotionally and financially, and I simply can’t afford the travel, time off work, or a place to stay. My dad is in the hospital and I’ll need to rent a place nearby for a week so I can visit him, help him, and make the most of the time we have left together.

Writing this is not easy for me. Asking for help is humbling, but I know how important it is to be there for my dad. Any amount will help me cover the cost of flights, food, and a short stay near the hospital. Even sharing this page or keeping us in your thoughts would mean so much.
