Earlier this year, Karen Goldberg and her husband Barry fulfilled their lifelong dream of moving to Florida after spending their entire lives in New York and Hoboken. They were excited to enjoy their golden years in paradise, embracing the sunshine and the peace they had worked so hard for. Karen, a beloved force in the travel industry known for her kindness, passion, and vibrant spirit, had finally settled into the next chapter of her life.

But in a devastating turn of events, Hurricane Helene tore through their area, leaving destruction in its wake. Their home was destroyed, and their dream has turned into a nightmare in a matter of hours. Now, Karen and Barry are facing the unimaginable task of rebuilding not just their home, but every aspect of their lives.

Karen has touched the hearts of so many, and now, it’s time for us to help her and Barry recover and rebuild.
