Kareemah has been an unceasing force for good in the climbing community for over a decade. She is a committed advocate for underrepresented groups and equitable access to climbing. The heart of her work is about helping others. Now it's our turn to help her.
This week her rental vehicle was broken into in Oakland, CA and she lost not only irreplaceable personal items, but also several expensive electronics and most concerningly, her climbing prosthesis. To lose so much at once in a place that isn't home is overwhelming.
Kareemah has given so much of herself to the community and helped positively transform the experience of climbing for so many. We hope that this fundraiser will help uplift her after this unfortunate incident. Prosthesis are costly and this fundraiser seeks to relieve her of the financial burden of replacing it, among the other items lost.
