My good friend Karam Mansor is a 20-year old entrepreneur from Gaza, who, before the brutal siege, was running a small business buying and reselling trainers. Despite the hardships he and his family have faced - being displaced, with family members injured and several close friends lost - Karam has held on to his wicked sense of humour and determination. A passionate Arsenal fan, aspiring freestyler and hip hop lover, he continues to inspire me with his resilience.

However, as we know, the situation in his homeland is dire. The ongoing crises which include ceasefire violations from the entity, has made it impossible to move forward with his dreams. In this uncertain time, with the ceasefire potentially offering the only window of opportunity, it’s our chance to help him escape Gaza as he wishes to do.

The cost for Karam to leave Gaza, including travel, food, support for his family and potential emergencies totals £3,000. It should be our honour to help him make this happen. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make an urgent difference in this young man’s life.
