To Whom It May Concern / Concerned Humanitarian Agencies,

I am Karam Fathi, a 7-year-old child, and I live with my family in extremely difficult humanitarian conditions. I have two younger siblings, Salam (6 years old) and Batoul (4 years old). We have been bombed more than four times, and we were pulled out from under the rubble. We now live in an unbearable situation of pain, fear, and deprivation.

We have been displaced numerous times in search of safe shelter, but we have been unable to find a stable place or one that provides the minimum level of security and a dignified life. Since my father was seriously injured in his right side more than seven months ago, our conditions have worsened, especially given the lack of adequate medical care.

As a child, I am not living a normal life as I should. Rather, I have taken on responsibilities beyond my age, such as fetching water, helping my mother, and caring for my siblings, in the absence of protection and support.

I appeal to you from the bottom of my heart as a child to help me and my family obtain:

• A safe shelter to protect us from the bombing and displacement.

• Food, water, and basic necessities.

• Urgent healthcare for my father, who is still suffering from his injury.

• Humanitarian support to enable us to live with dignity like other children and families.

Please find compassion in your hearts and respond to our suffering. We are only asking for the bare necessities of life.
