** URGENT UPDATE: Peace is Here—Our Final Push to Evacuate & Rebuild **
Hello everyone,
We are Karam and Noor, and we are writing with an overwhelming sense of hope. After surviving an unimaginable period, the ceasefire is here, and the borders are expected to open soon. This is our chance—the one we've been praying for—to leave Gaza, ensure a safe birth for our son, Adam, and finally start our life and careers again.
Noor is now in the second half of her 8th month of pregnancy. After tragically losing two previous pregnancies, protecting Adam is our absolute priority. We need to reach a stable country immediately so Noor can receive the necessary high-risk medical care and give birth in peace.
From Survival to Self-Sufficiency: Our New Goal
The funds raised so far have been a lifeline—they helped us pass the famine period and purchase some essential clothes for Adam. We are immensely grateful. However, the largest hurdle remains: securing the final costs to leave and set up a new life.
Before the war, we were building successful, professional lives:
Karam worked as a Software Engineer.
Noor was a professional Accountant.
We are determined to get back to work immediately and become self-sufficient.
We are making this final, urgent push to raise the funds needed for a sustainable fresh start:
Urgent Travel & Evacuation Fees: Covering the high fees required to cross the border for Karam and Noor, including specialized travel for Noor's advanced, high-risk pregnancy.
Remote Work Equipment for Karam: Funding essential equipment (a new laptop, stable internet setup, etc.) for Karam to immediately return to work as a remote Software Engineer or freelancer. This is our fastest path to earning an income and stability.
Initial Resettlement Costs: Covering rent and basic living expenses for the first few months in a stable country, allowing Noor to recover from childbirth and Karam to focus on securing a stable work contract.
This is no longer just about survival; it is an investment in our future—one that brings a Software Engineer and an Accountant back into the global workforce and gives our son, Adam, the peaceful beginning he deserves.
