Karalyn Smith is my youngest daughter. Her health has taken some serious hits over the years. She has had a 40% spinal fusion and AVM that caused her right leg to be amputated below the knee. In June of 2024, after several bouts with COVID, she developed blood clots in her lung that landed her in the ICU. She had suffered some mini-strokes. She is still paying for many of those bills. She is on a very expensive blood thinner. It costs her $670.00 a month after insurance. She is struggling to buy any new prosthetic sleeves and foot rubber. She now has had a kidney surgery and is facing another in January. She needs help and that is why I started this GoFundMe.
