Hi, my name is Kara. It's been a rough 4 years. Four years ago this month, my husband of 39 years passed away of vascular dementia, and at the same time I was diagnosed with rectal cancer. I still have the tumor and hope to be here a little longer. I have been living on social security only. I have seeked assistance from the City and County with no luck. Finding a home to relocate has not been successful, because it would cost more to move. I am seeking assistance to pay off bills and be able to live in the rental home I have been in for 13 years.
