Hi, my name is Kara,and I'm reaching out during one of the hardest times in my life.

On October 14th, 2025, my roommate unexpectedly passed away. I was the one who found her, and the experience has left me deeply shaken and grieving. On top of this emotional trauma, I’m now facing serious financial uncertainty.

I relied on her help to cover rent and bills, and without her, I’m suddenly responsible for everything on my own. I’m doing my best to figure out a path forward—whether that’s finding a new roommate or moving—but these things take time. Right now, I need help to stay afloat while I get through the next couple of months.

I’m asking for at least $10,000 to help cover rent, utilities, and basic living expenses through the next few months. Anything you can give—no matter how small—will make a real difference and help me focus on healing without the stress of not being able to cover my rent and utilities.
