Help Kara Rebuild After a Fire Destroyed Her Home

Hi everyone, my name is Kat, and I am writing on behalf of our dear friend Kara, as she recently lost her apartment in a devastating electrical fire.

On Tuesday, 10/18, Kara's attic apartment was destroyed by an electrical fire that started in the basement. Luckily no one was hurt, but the building was severely damaged, and Kara had to grab what few smoke-damaged belongings she could in the middle of the night and leave everything else behind.

To know Kara is to love Kara. She is truly the sweetest, most caring human I have ever met. If you have had the pleasure of meeting her, you know it to be true. Whether in a massage session working her magic to help you heal, in support of art and live music, or at a local establishment offering you a beverage and a big hug, Kara is always one to help others -- and now she needs our help.

Please chip in what you can as Kara works to find a new apartment and rebuild her life. Her mattress, couch, laptop, and so much more were all destroyed and need to be replaced asap. Anything you can give is so greatly appreciated.
