Hello,

Many of you may know Kara Martinez. She is a lifelong member of our local community, growing up in Meredith and now is raising her wonderful boys, Xavier and Caleb, in Moultonborough with her loving husband, Carlos. You may know her from many birthday parties or play dates with the kids to coaching soccer for the little ones last year. You may also be lucky enough to know her as I do as a dedicated, loving and wonderful friend.

This early spring Kara was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, Triple Negative Squamous Cell Carcinoma. As all things Kara she has taken on the challenge with poise and grace and is working very hard with her team of doctors at Mass General in Boston to KICK CANCER'S BUTT!! Kara has taken a leave from her job helping coach and teach troubled youth to focus on her health, her family and getting well. All of these changes coupled with the affects of chemo treatment on overall well being have proved to provide many challanges.

As Kara has always been there to help and support so many of you I have heard many people looking for ways to help Kara and her family. I have created this Go Fund Me to help facilitate just that.
