Help Kara Heal and Care for Her Family

Hey! I'm having complete abdominal reconstructive surgery this Friday. Back in June, I had an emergency C-section. Unfortunately, my small intestine was sewn to the Cesarean closure causing me to have a triple small intestinal obstruction. They went in removed 13 inches of intestines, and we thought I was fixed. I then about 10 days after the correction, became septic, had to have drains implanted. From there I just never healed right. My liver, my intestines and what's left of my muscle tissue has all herniated in my upper abdomen under my sternum. I've had to have weekly shots of anti-spasmodics, I had another obstruction that they were able to fix non-surgically in November. Long story short, I can't work. I'm going to be in recovery for a while. I have four children. I've got a loving fiance who works his butt off to take care of me. But life is expensive and any help is appreciated guys. I know times are tough on everyone and I don't want to seem any type of way by asking for help. But I've learned in my 36 years that when you're at your lowest all you can do is ask for help. And if you don't you won't get any. Anyways that's where I'm at and that's why I'm doing this. God bless and lots of love. Kara
