I created this gofundme page on behalf of my sister Chao and her family. They have been going through some tough times and would appreciate any financial assistance to support them during their time of need.

My niece's name is Kara Yang and is currently six years old. She was getting ready for the start of kindergarten in August of 2017 when she was diagnosed with a cancer called neuroblastoma. So instead of being able to attend school, make new friends, and enjoy just being a kid, she has been in and out of the hospital, had surgeries, and endured chemotherapy to treat her cancer.
Despite the treatments and procedures Kara has to go through she manages to keep her beautiful smile. Giving us all hope in being cancer free so that she can continue to be the happy girl she is.

My sister's family has never been one to ask for help but have been struggling to make ends meet. Because Kara is still so young and has gone through so many medical procedures, she wants and needs her parents to be there to support her. And they have taken leave from work to care for her at the hospital, but also have their three other children at home. So, they have a dilemma where they have to spend time with Kara, because no one really knows whether the treatments will work and what cancer will do, while going back and forth to care for their other kids.

These expenses add up and have become overwhelming for her family. We hope you can contribute to help support them as they go through this trying period in their lives. Any donation is very much appreciated and would help with medical, travel, and food expenditures while they are away from home.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
