We're heartbroken to share that Kara—devoted mother to our 9-year-old daughter, Nora—has received devastating news. After years of courageously battling autoimmune disease, a recent MRI has revealed that she has a brain tumor.

We are in the early stages of this arduous journey, assessing her condition with the exceptional neurological team at UC. Together, we are working to determine the best possible care plan to address the tumor, and we know that she has a challenging road ahead.

Kara is not one to ask for help, as she has always been fiercely independent and resilient. However, this situation is beyond what any one person should have to face alone.
