I have written this over so many times, it's hard asking for help. I'm in the hospital. I've been in the hospitsl improve for 6 nights now. I will be here for an unknown time. Recovery after discharge will be months. I will not be able to work or work my dogs untill well into my recovery.

I need help with the medical bills. When discharged I have to take home and wear wound vacuums for weeks-months. They are 1,700/2weeks. I am not sure if I will need 1 or 2. I've had 2 CT scans, 2 x rays, 2 types of ECHO, 3-4 EKC, wound surgery, and constant heart and vital monitoring. I was on the step down floor receiving 24/7 care. The bills will be astounding.

The past 6nights my dogs have been taken care of by friends and family who have gone above and beyond with their care. There are roughly 25 dogs including fosters. I will not be able to work to support them. I will not be able to physically or mentally support all of them. They will be placed in temporary care during this process. I don't know when I will see all my dogs again.

please help if you can. I never expected this could even happen. I've had many complications here and l just want to go home.

Saturday(11/8) I did a halftime show at University of Texas. On the drive home Sunday(11/9)I started feeling ill, and went to urgent care. What I thought were originally bug bites that got infected were actually mersa.i had a CT scan of leg would , I was septic, and broke out in a terrible fever. Urgent care admit me to the hospital.

I then experienced septic emboli. infected blood clots that travel through the bloodstream, causing blockages in smaller vessels and damaging tissue. I also have pneumonia. I had intensely painful shortness of breath and for days heart surgery was on the table. Thankfully with EKG, ECHO and TEE procedures done ruled out the need for heart surgery just a few days ago. The infection is there but responding to strong iv antibiotics.

Monday (11/10) I was taken into surgery where they removed the infection from my wounds, leaving gaping holes in my leg. I have 3 holes in my leg that are 1-2" deep, and roughly the size of a softball. My arm wound was cleaned and you can see all the muscles and tendons in my arm.

At one point my vitals were not able to be stable and my oxygen levels plummeted to 60, even when on oxygen. I was admit to the step down unit for constant care. I was on 12-15ml and slowly weaned and became stable. Which was super important bc I could not have the TEE procedure until I was stable, and this would tell me if I needed heart surgery or not. Thankfully heart surgery is not on the table anymore.

My weakened immune system is not tolerating this well. I fainted while trying to take a shower, and am now a fall risk. I can not walk on my own. They placed they wound vacuums 11/14. I have 2 of them. One for my legs and one for my arm. I will have to wear theses for weeks to months.

the wounds are on my left leg. My vaulting leg. My arm wound is my non dominant hand.

im just trying to survive and get back to my dogs.

i didn't know I was sick like this. I had a great time in Austin Saturday . And Sunday I went down hill in the blink of an eye.

my living situation is not what it was. My personal items have been thrown into storage, stolen or still missing.
