Help Kappa Get the Training He Deserves
Donation protected
Kappa is a young dog who has already faced more hardship than most. He arrived at the Fulton County Animal shelter in Atlanta in April 2025, severely underweight, with urine burns on his legs and signs that he had been kept in a crate far too small for him. Despite his rough start, Kappa showed a sweet and gentle side when he was given a chance to stay with a foster family. During his month in foster care, he began to blossom, but when he returned to the shelter, the stress quickly took its toll. Kappa became fearful and started lashing out at other dogs and people, which led to him being placed on this week’s euthanasia list due to space constraints.
Kappa’s foster and I believe he deserves a real chance at a happy life. With the right training, Kappa can overcome his mouthiness and learn to socialize safely with other dogs. If we raise enough, Kappa will attend a board and train program at Peach on a Leash, where he’ll receive the intensive support he needs. If we raise less, he’ll still benefit from individual training sessions. Every dollar will go directly to his training, and if there’s anything left, it will help provide enrichment supplies to support his progress in foster care.
Kappa’s story is one of resilience and hope. With your help, we can give him the second chance he deserves and keep him out of the shelter for good. Thank you for believing in Kappa and supporting his journey to a better life.
Kappa has been saved from euthanasia tonight by his foster and is available for adoption.
