Help Kaori recover from a hit and run!

Hi! This gofundme was set up by some of Kaori’s friends. We really need your help right now: Our friend was hit by a car while on a bicycle, and is now recovering from a broken knee and surgery to attempt to fix it.

On October 5th, Kaori was biking when a car struck her on the left side, causing her to fall on her knee. The driver paused after hitting her and then left.

In what felt like a miracle, a very kind witness stopped to help Kaori and shared their recorded dashcam video of the driver hitting her. With this, Kaori was able to identify the license plate and get help from an injury case attorney. However, the attorneys found that the defendant’s auto insurance was inactive, and immediately dropped Kaori’s case.

Now Kaori’s recovering from the surgery needed for the healing of her left knee, and we would deeply appreciate any help we can get in helping her pay the bill for it so she can just focus on getting better.
