We’re reaching out to support our dear friend Kang, an aspiring pilot and one of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet. Recently, while moving across the country to start a new chapter in Portland, Oregon, Kang faced an unimaginable setback. During his journey, his car was broken into, and he lost nearly everything he owned.

The stolen items included his gaming laptop, camera, jewelry, passports, pilot licenses, and even a significant amount of cash—valued at approximately $9,000. These weren’t just material possessions; they were pieces of his livelihood, his memories, and his dreams. In addition to rallying for Kang, we’re also contributing an additional $1,000 to help cover the cost of repairing his vehicle's broken glass and addressing other immediate necessities. This is just a small step to help him begin the process of rebuilding after such a devastating loss.

As if this wasn’t enough, Kang’s path to becoming a pilot has also been impacted. He was scheduled to begin his new job in February 2025, but due to unforeseen delays, this opportunity has been pushed back until September 2025. This seven-month delay means a significant period without income, making this loss even more challenging to recover from.

If you know Kang, you know how special he is. He’s the friend who is just one call away, always ready to lend a hand, no questions asked. He gives without expecting anything in return and has never been one to ask for help himself. Now, it’s our turn to rally around him.
