Help kandi with her recovery and expenses

hi my name is Kandice and I’ve been undergoing cancer treatment for a year now. I was diagnosed in June last year with stage 3a breast cancer and started treatment in July.2023 which was weekly until dec, I’ve had surgery in January of this year which my left breast and 20 lymph nodes were removed and three weeks radiation in March of this year. I still have monthly chemo for another year and on a waiting list for a breast reconstruction I’m unable to work and I’m studying but cost of living and bills is starting to catch up on me last week I was referred to a chiropractor. He wants to see twice a week for a number of months. I get six visits with a rebate but that still gonna cost me $60 a visit out-of-pocket and I’ll be going twice a week then I will need physio I have bad lymphoedema in my left arm that was result of my surgery. and radiation. my bills are crazy at the minute. I’ve got my car rego due and. I’ve just had to pay $300 on my car to get it fixed to be able to get a pink slip. Car still sat at the Mechanic cause I can’t afford to get it out and I just wanna be able to do things like everyone else. I’m not on a pension. I’m on a jobseeker payment and I’m exempted for looking for work for two years , I’ve put in a claim for disability pension. Last year I was declined it but I think I did it wrong.

i’m also a mum of three beautiful children. Georgie who turns 18 in November Alice who is 13 in September and my handsome son Jack who turns 10 in January my children live with their dad at the moment. I’m going through my treatment and they’re half an hour away from me so the cost of fuel is a killer.

Any help would be appreciated im back at tafe doing my diploma which is $4200 and with this my car, my chiro, and normal living expenses I’m sadly not keeping up as I’m unable to work, I can’t massage or do my car detailing on the side either as it causes my arm to swell up badly.

Also in last year I’ve had my car stolen, it was found and I got new keys cut then again this year my purse was stolen resulting in my car keys being lost so another $600 for new keys and I had my house broken into whilst I was at hospital also. Since owning my car it’s cost me $5000 in different things, new tyres, new suspension, power steering, new heads and gaskets, guess you can say I brought a lemon.
