My name is Kandace and I was a victim of the Milwaukee, WI flooding, and my insurance company is not covering anything since I didn’t have a flood endorsement or sewage endorsement on my policy.

I have lost everything that I had, including my washer and dryer, furnace and central air, water heater, and water softener system. All of my personal belongings and memories from my childhood are gone. All pictures of my dad are gone; I lost him a couple of years ago.

My mortgage company is denying an appraisal because my HVAC is not working to give me the equity from my home. I’m trying to get the equity in order to get the HVAC working again. There are so many things that I can’t replace that I have lost and am rebuilding from scratch. I’m in a major financial burden that I don’t know what to do.

All funds will be going to getting new appliances for the daily necessities.
