Help Kandace & Children Leave Domestic Violence

Kandace Wright Coker, my sister, and her five children are leaving a domestic abuse relationship and need your help getting back on their feet.

She has fought battles to protect her children in ways most of us will never understand. This has gone on for many years without anyone ever noticing. She has never been one to air her dirty laundry but always has a smile on her face and is ready and willing to help others. Now she really needs your help.

She has been to court, and the judge granted a permanent protective order against her husband and awarded her custody of the children and the house.

Kandace pays all the rent; bills; childcare; clothing; entertainment (birthday parties, etc.). Athletic dues/fees, uniforms, and shoes for her children. Her extra financial burden is over a thousand dollars a month.

Kandace works full-time and also serves as Vice President on the high school lacrosse boosters board of directors. She is also the team mom of at least one of her children’s teams for every sport.

Not sure how she does it all, but those who know her would agree she should be up for the mother of the year award!

Now the ugly part. The next step is divorce court.

Even though she has a strong case, she still needs a good attorney.
