Paws For Kamry

Hi! My name is Kamry and I’ve been diagnosed with a disability that requires me to have a service dog in order to be safe and independent. Something as little as a dollar or the money you’d spend on your morning coffee would help me ❤️
~Read my story and who I am below~
I’m currently applying for College with my big heart set on becoming a veterinarian. I love school and caring for animals. I’m also an outdoorsy person who loves to hammock and do fun activities with my friends :)
In my junior year of high school out of nowhere I had my first seizure… in the months following, there wasn’t a day that passed by where I didn’t have at least one.
My seizures can happen at any moment and can last for very long periods of time.
Over the course of 3 years I’ve been to the hospital more times than I can count, taken countless tests, and waited months to see neurologists and cardiologists. All in hopes of finding a root cause to my seizures and it’s been tough.
In these past years, I’ve struggled with being able to hold a job. I had to drop my AP and IB classes at school, and eventually had to switch to fully graduating from home.
My seizures have taken away my independence and my ability to stay safe on my own.
With no medication, or any treatment for what I’m experiencing. My team of doctors, my family, and I have all decided that I would best benefit from the assistance of a service dog.
A service dog would give me my life back, my independence back, and most importantly a Service dog would keep me safe when I have a seizure by myself, working, or out in public.
And I need one now more than ever in order to go to college away from home this fall.
Any funds raised will be put towards a service dog. It costs up words of $10,000 to raise, house, and train service dogs to effectively and safely work with their handlers. Please consider donating as much or as little as you can. I greatly appreciate any and all support!! :)
