My name is Kamille and I am a student at the University of California Berkeley. I am a first-generation student and my dreams have always been to 1) go to school and 2) travel. I have a deep love for academia; I have a 3.6 GPA and I am active in several clubs. I will be leading a class next semester as well as assisting in research. I also have a curiosity for the world and I am applying for a study abroad program for this summer.

I was never able to travel until given opportunities like this one. It is important to me that I continue to try to reach all the goals I set for myself, as I want to show my baby siblings that they can have all these things too. It's important to me that they see someone that looks like them in high-achieving positions. Furthermore, this program will assist me in my career goals, as ultimately, I hope to work at a company in Denmark.

I plan on using the money for housing expenses as well as cost-of-living expenses while I am in Denmark. Please help me achieve this step in advancing my career goals.
