Help Kamea go to Senegal!

Hello!
I'm Kamea Alleyne, a junior and Film and Media major at Emory University. This summer I have the greatest opportunity to go to Senegal through Emory's study abroad programs. This program only happens every 2 years as we will be exploring the Biennale or "DakART" festival which is the oldest Black arts festival in the world. As a person of African descent Senegal will be the first place I have traveled to outside the country and being able to experience Africa from this perspective will be amazing. As a filmmaker and creative, the Biennale offers a space for more creative inspiration and for me to grow in my passions and my love for blackness and black art.
I have a scholarship that covers the trip itself, however, I cannot afford the $2000 airfare ticket it gets to go there. My trip is in May (with the program leaving on the 13th) and I have been struggling to get the funds for the airfare. If you would like to support my funds for the trip that would be amazing, if not sharing and spreading the word as much as you can is also just as impactful.
