As many of you know, Kamdyn was diagnosed with an incurable, rare genetic disorder called San Filippo Syndrome Type A. It is the childhood form of dementia/Alzheimer's, which causes premature death. He has lost most of his mobility and is slowly losing his ability to swallow. He is fully dependent on his parents, Brandon and Liz Channell. Their income has been cut due to his dad needing to be home with him. There's a huge emotional and financial strain when caring for a child with a terminal illness that requires multiple doctor appointments among other needed things.
