In May of 2024, I underwent open-heart surgery. In an instant, everything slowed down—our work, our projects, and the mission we had been building through KAMAR Media to tell meaningful stories that bring hope and awareness to others. During my recovery, we were unable to travel, film, or complete the projects that so many people were counting on us to finish. One of those projects, “The Quiet from Within,” follows a courageous woman living with Lyme disease and the daily battles she faces. Her story is powerful, honest, and deeply needed by so many who feel unseen in their own struggles.
