Help Kama rebuild in Lahaina

Hi, my name is Lynn and I live in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. I am raising funds to help my friend, Kama, from Maui, Hawaii, rebuild his Papa's home in Lahaina and to support him while he shelters more than 20 people from his extended family who have been displaced due to the catastrophic wildfire that destroyed Lahaina. I met Kama during a trip to Hawaii last October when he provided transportation for us during our stay. He ferried us back and forth across the island and we met his youngest daughter who was attending the Lahaina School, which has also been destroyed in the fire. His sons were staying with their grandfather when the fire broke out and it took three agonizing days to discover that they had escaped harm. Now they are all together and grateful to be alive. But they need help to feed and care for the family and to hopefully rebuild the family home that was lost.

All of the funds collected will be kept in an account at Wells Fargo in California until the information for Kama's personal account in Maui can be obtained, at which point all funds collected will be transferred there and future donations deposited directly to that account.
