My best friend Karleigh Bachman was involved in a bad car accident on Sept, 26th that was no fault of her own. She suffered many injuries that are physically altering and life long. She has had 2 surgeries to repair hip and pelvis damage and will potentially need a hip replacement in the near future... we are still unsure of the severity of all of her injuries. Karleigh is the hardest working 24 year old I have ever met... she is a Direct support professional who loves caring for her residents/clients but is now unsure when or if she will be able to return to her job. She will be the first person to help someone in need but would never ask for help herself. Karleigh has 3 dogs and 2 cats that she considers her children. She works nonstop and because of that she was able to purchase her first home less than a year ago. It was not an easy process and now she has to fear losing it. We are utilizing this Go Fund Me in hopes of helping her during this time of need. Finances are going to make things very stressful for her not knowing when she can return to work or when any government assistance may be approved. Karleigh's family and I are pulling together any and everything we can but unfortunately this will become extremely difficult as time goes on.
