Six months ago, my beautiful sister Kalin was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Kalin just finished her 12th round of chemotherapy and has been responding well to treatment. Through it all, Kalin’s family has been close and helping to care for Kalin and Derek’s two kids, Isla, 5, and Lachlan, 2, while Derek is deployed abroad.

 

Now that her treatment is finished, she is looking forward to getting back to the new normal. She’s also planning to return to work in January.
