Help Me Access the Surgery I Need to Save My Uterus

Hi, my name is Kalie Falls, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult moments of my life.

I recently learned that I urgently need surgery to remove non-cancerous tumors inside my uterus. These tumors are pressing against my bladder, intestines, and stomach, causing unbearable pain and making it almost impossible to keep food or water down. I’ve already been hospitalized four times because of this condition.

At the government hospital where I am currently being treated, the doctors told me they do not have the equipment to perform the surgery that would save my uterus. The only procedure they can offer is a full hysterectomy. As a woman who still dreams of carrying a child one day, this news was devastating. My only option to preserve my uterus is to seek care at a private hospital, but the cost is far beyond what I can afford.

This crisis comes at a very difficult time in my life. I was recently let go from my job after raising concerns about racism and bias in the workplace. At the same time, I’ve been battling a compressed vertebra neck injury, arrhythmia, and chronic scoliosis pain. I’ve been navigating all of this alone, without family support, and it has been overwhelming.

As hard as it is to ask for help, today I have no choice but to turn to my community for care and compassion. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward the cost of my surgery to save my uterus and my chance at future motherhood.
