Hey everyone I’m Jillian and I am setting up this fundraiser in hopes that it will help my best friend and her family with her 14 year old daughter's fight against Leukemia. I received a message on Thursday evening from my best friend Ginger simply stating that her daughter Kali that is only 14 years old was at Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St Louis and had been diagnosed with Leukemia. I called her and she explained that Wednesday evening aug 4th they took her to the er she was having nose bleeds,chest pains, and hurting in ribs. They did alot of tests and blood work on her. They found that she has some problems with her blood so they sent us by ambulance to cardinal glennon children's hospital where they ran more tests and drew blood and they came back with a diagnosis of aml acute myeloid leukemia. Kali is starting some very aggressive chemo this morning and will spend at least the next month in Cardinal Glennon. For those of you that don’t know, Ginger and Doc have four children total. They will be spending a lot of time traveling back and forth from Carterville, Illinois to St Louis , Mo all while keeping the rest of their family a float. Doc and Ginger would never ask for anything from anyone but would always be the first ones to offer help to anyone in need. I am hoping that by creating this fundraiser it may help to ease some of the financial strain that goes along with everyday life so they can focus on getting Kali better and getting her back home. If you can help them please do. There is no amount too small. As a parent myself I cannot imagine what they are going through. So please if you can reach deep to help them. If you cannot help financially please say some extra prayers for their whole family . Their family is a faithful family that will stand with God through the journey!
