Help Kali get her car repaired!

Hello friends far and wide,

One of the hardest things to do, especially when the world is in so much need, is to ask for financial help for oneself. But I have been stuck in the woods without a car for 5 weeks now and have just discovered that my auto insurance will not cover the work needed to repair my 2 year old LEASED Toyota Corolla. All those acorns this past autumn increased the squirrel population exponentially and they have destroyed the harness holding the electrical system, have made large holes in the bottom of the car, and built extensive nests under the floor, causing me quite an asthmatic response (which is, impart, how I knew something was wrong).

The car is non-functioning as is and I am missing work because of it. I'm grateful to work from home 4 days a week but cannot afford the loss in salary I'm experiencing.

I have $1500.00 of my own to put into repairing the car but there remains nearly $2500.00 in damages.

The car is located at Ira Toyota in Saco, Maine, and I am happy to send both photos and a ledger of repairs needed for anyone who wants them and is able and willing to help.

I am both sorry and deeply grateful for any and all assistance! Right now I am living a minimalistic lifestyle-not far off from how I normally live but with much fewer hikes and trips to the grocery store and a very much missed weekly trip to wander Maine's beaches.
