Help Save Kahlua (“Kali”) – Our Brave Frenchie Fighting Epilepsy

Hi, my name is Lené and I’m asking for help for our beloved dog, Kahlua—affectionately known as Kali.

Kali is a sweet, fun-loving French Bulldog who was born on May 23, 2024. She has brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our family in such a short time. Kali brings comfort to our son’s anxiety and ADHD. She has helped him tremendously to deal with the death of his grandfather.

In October 2025, everything changed.

Kali began having cluster seizures, and we truly didn’t think she was going to make it. It was one of the most terrifying experiences we’ve ever gone through. With emergency care and medication, we were able to get the seizures under control. Or so we thought… the fight isn’t over.

Despite ongoing treatment and multiple adjustments to her medication, Kali is still experiencing cluster seizures. She is currently in the ER. They are doing everything they can, but the costs have quickly added up to thousands of dollars already, plus ongoing monthly medication expenses.

Our next step is critical: Kali needs to see a veterinary neurologist for specialized testing and care. This could help us better understand what’s causing her seizures and how to treat them more effectively—but the cost is more than we can manage on our own.

We are asking for help to give Kali the chance she deserves.

Kali is still full of life, love, and strength. She cuddles, plays, and looks at us with so much trust. We just want to give her the opportunity to live a long, happy, and healthy life.
