Bula vinaka everyone, 

My name is Kaliova Cadrevia of Nananu Village in the Western of Fiji Islands. I used to work for Global Works USA (2009 - 2011) and now am still working with Carpe Diem Education USA (2008 - to date) as a Fiji Coordinator. We worked together on various projects (building footpaths, building Kindergarten School, building school benches, building school nursery, building Village Hall, providing teaching materials, etc.) in so many villages including my village. 

Unfortunately, on the 17th of December, 2020 Fiji was affected by Tropical Cyclone Yasa (a Category 3 cyclone). 
We were struggling through that, while trying to celebrate Christmas and New Years. Again on the 30th of January this year we again got struck by Tropical Cyclone Ana (another Category 3 cyclone) which brought a lot of rain which flooded many towns and villages in Fiji. TC Ana was then followed by her sister TC Bina and became a Tropical Depression when it reached Fiji. Houses and schools are blown away and most houses where underwater for a few days. Most people are still struggling to get their life together and some are still picking up pieces of what was left to rebuild to have something at least above their head since tarps and tents are not reliable in this rainy weather.
I am really touched and it breaks my heart how people in my village and nearby villages are still struggling to get food, water and school stationary, therefore I am really needing your assistance in supporting the needy. If you donate $15 USD I am sure it will bring a smile to a family with providing 10kg rice, 10kg flour and 2kg sugar which can last a month for the family of 5. Most of the villagers depend exclusively on their farm/plantation for food but now have to depend on buying from supermarkets until they regain their lives and their farm. 

The school in Fiji will again resume next week and I am sure some parents will find it hard to send their kids to school. With your help, I'm looking  forward to assisting Nananu Village, Naseyani Village, Rabulu Village, Togovere Village and Nakuku Village.
