Hi my name is Kalia, I am fundraising for my closest friend kali and her family. Kali gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on October 22 by c section while fighting Covid. Kali’s health started to decline shortly after giving birth, it was discovered that she had two blood clots and Covid pneumonia. She spent almost two weeks at Memorial hospital in the ICU fighting for her life.

Today, on November 2nd she was intubated early morning and flown to a critical care hospital in Maine. Her husband Mario is currently home raising both kids with the help of Kali’s amazing parents, and he is currently unable to work. Kali is one of the sweetest people I know! She is funny, caring and always willing to do whatever she can for another person, she also is an amazing mom. My hope is that this fundraiser will help relieve some of the burden with all the medical expenses and loss of work. So that when kali pulls through she can focus on healing and getting back to her wonderful family that misses her very much.
