Help Kaleigh Secure a Safe Home

Hi there, I'm Kaleigh, a recent Trans refugee from the South now in New England. I've spent the last year and a half in TN, OK, and AZ and a good portion of that time I spent homeless.

Right now I have an opportunity to have a home and a place to help my partner, still in Oklahoma City feeling unsafe and unable to start their transition, to move here as well and be safer.

I've been putting out my resume and setting up work but I can't raise these funds on my own right now fast enough.

The housing situation will allow us to take over the lease on a 3 bed apartment in Providence, RI. We will be also looking to add another roommate to the house another displaced trans person as well.

Currently I'm crashing on the couch of a wonderful family who has welcomed me into their home so I am not living in my car anymore. It's not a long-term solution and this we hope will be.

So maybe this year for pride help a displaced trans family find a new home.
