Hello! As many of you may know, my name is Keisha and I am the mother of Kaleah also known as LuLu. I’ve created this GoFundMe account for her to raise money for the extraordinary opportunity she’s been presented with. I have the pleasure to announce that Kaleah has been nominated by her teacher to attend this years Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington D.C. this summer. Kaleah was chosen for her academic achievement and the leadership abilities that she exhibits.

Although she was nominated, the cost of the trip is not covered by the school and I do not have all of the funds needed to secure her spot for this learning opportunity. Spaces are limited and I don’t want her to miss out on this experience so I am asking for help.

This is a six day opportunity that includes field study at some of our Nations memorials, monuments, and a couple of museums. Kaleah will also be learning to become a better leader by setting clear goals, improving communication skills, embracing models for solving complex problems, and building effective teams.

By helping to get Kaleah to Washington D.C. you will be helping her with the chance to gain confidence, practice with team work, public speaking skills, and learn to set goals for continued personal leadership improvement. She will be preparing for the future and taking the first step on a path to success in middle school, high school, college, and her career.

Donations will help with the cost of the conference, flights, and hotel stay.
