My Road to 2018 Pan American Games, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Thank you to everyone who has been supporting me along the way to get me here today. I'd also like to thank my Senseis, sempais, and teammates for helping, supporting, and coaching along the way.
I started my karate journey when I was four years old, it was unintentional because I was watching one of my teammates in class, and I got pulled in, and I remember I started crying because I didn't want to go in and I thought it was scary. After class I decided to stick to it because I enjoyed it.
Currently I am thirteen years old, and I went to this years Nationals in Reno for USA Karate team trials, and if you place in the top two, then you have the chance to go to PKF, or Pan American games. With me finishing in top two, I now have the chance to go and compete in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and I can represent the United States.
