Update 6/29

Dave went to be with the Lord yesterday. (Saturday 6/28) For those of you who have been asking what happened, I will do my best to explain- but I am no medical expert…

Dave got air lifted to Casper Saturday 6/21 for having heart problems, Casper pulled too much fluid off of him at once (~45lbs) which put his body into shock, they got him stable enough to be released (Wednesday 6/25) and sent him home with 3 different new heart medications. We’re thinking he had some sort of an allergic reaction to them that night since his body was not responding well once being released. On Thursday (6/26) he went to Gillette hospital, which did not agree at all with the treatment he received in Capser. They said that since they pulled so much fluid so fast, it caused his organs to start shutting down. They gave him medication to keep his blood pressure up since he didn’t have enough blood flow, which worked - but constricts your veins so much he started losing feelings to his limbs and in a roundabout way they started dying off, and without being on that medication he would just black out and lay there, but they only carry this medicine in the ICU they can’t release it or prescribe it, so they had to make a decision, and since his body could not function without this medicine, it was a double edge sword since this medicine was also harming him at the same time… The family appreciates your thoughts and kind words during their time of grieving. I am starting a GoFundMe for Kale and his dad Dave Morse. Dave has recently (and suddenly) been diagnosed with heart failure, liver failure, and kidney failure. Doctors are not sure how much longer he has to live. That being said, there is going to be a lot of upcoming unexpected expenses falling into Kale's lap. From the numerous ER visits, along with having to be AirLifted to the hospital, plus the potential for Dave to be put in a nursing home/assisted living; the bills are about to come rolling in. Not to mention funeral/burial expenses, if things take a turn for the worse sooner vs later. I am asking you if you can spare $5, $20, anything you have to offer- every little bit helps. Please wrap this family around your hearts during this time. I will update as I know more. Thank you!
