Help Kale start a knifemaking business

Kale has been making knives for a few months now with some very rigged equipment, but he loves it so much that the lack of proper tools has not stopped him. I haven't seen him this passionate about anything since music. If you know him you know that is huge! I would really like to get him some real equipment for his birthday, but a forge alone can cost a few grand. So, I am hoping his friends and family can help me make his dreams come true.
