Hello everyone, my name is Luke, and I'm reaching out on behalf of my incredibly hardworking and resilient 17-year-old son, Kale. Kale is currently in the 10th grade, and like many teens, he has taken on a job to gain experience and save for his future. He is a very good person and a tremendously dedicated worker. However, the second half of this year has brought us several unexpected and challenging setbacks. The biggest challenge right now is transportation. Our family car is currently in the shop with a bad transmission, leaving us without reliable transportation. While Kale is determined to get to his job, the distance he has to walk in the extremely cold weather is significant. This daily struggle is taking a toll, not only on his energy but also on his ability to focus on his schoolwork. We've been helping him through some difficulties with his grades lately, and my biggest priority is giving him the support he needs to push through this tough time, focus on his studies, and build a strong future. We are hoping to raise funds to purchase an electric bike for Kale. An e-bike would provide him with a safe, reliable, and efficient way to get to and from work, regardless of the weather, removing the daily stress of a long, cold walk. This will free up his time and energy, allowing him to concentrate fully on his classes and improve his grades. This gift would be a powerful incentive for him—a physical representation of our belief in him and a reminder to keep pushing forward in both his work and his education. Due to the unexpected expenses from our car repairs and other setbacks, I simply cannot afford the purchase of an electric bike for him before Christmas.
