On the afternoon of Thursday, June 26th, my dear friend Kal was involved in a devastating accident when a truck collided with his motorbike, leaving him in a critical life threatening condition.

Kal has suffered multiple serious injuries and is currently in a coma in the ICU. He has already undergone several surgeries, with many more to come, and while the road ahead is long, we are holding onto hope for his recovery.

This life-changing event has had a profound emotional impact on everyone who knows and loves Kal. He is the primary provider for his beautiful young family, and this accident has turned their world upside down.

He has a broken neck, fractured skull and facial fractures, blood clot in lung, Spinal fractures, Head/ brain injury, broken ribs, damaged spleen, aortic tear, multiple leg, arm & foot breaks and significant lacerations.

His partner has stepped up to become his full-time carer, but the financial strain is enormous — including urgent needs such as an electric wheelchair and other medical equipment.

Kal is one of the most kind-hearted and generous people I’ve ever known. He has always been there for others, and now, in this incredibly difficult time, we hope those who know and love him can rally around and give back.
