My name is Kakay, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing one of the hardest times of my life. After losing my vehicle, I’ve been struggling to keep up with rent, and being pregnant has made everything feel even more overwhelming. I don’t have family to turn to, and it breaks my heart to admit that I often go without eating and spend many days in tears, feeling completely alone.

The funds I’m hoping to raise will go directly toward catching up on rent, trying to get a car so I can get to appointments and work, and covering basic needs like food. I’m doing everything I can to stay strong, but it’s hard not to lose hope when it feels like everything is falling apart. Becoming a first-time mother should be a joyful time, but instead, I’m fighting every day just to keep my home and well-being intact.
