Hello All,

I’m reaching out to you all for guidance, love & support for my precious girl Kaiya.

Last week I noticed that Kaiya wasn’t her usual self. Her breathing was heavy & just different. I also noticed how uncomfortable she was while laying in bed with me.

I decided to make an appointment with her vet, & with X-rays & bloodwork found out she has a mass growing on or into her right lung, as well as infection & will require extensive medical care.

As you can imagine the news hit me hard & my emotions were all over the place. I wasn’t expecting to hear this nor was I ready.

I have had Kaiya in my life for almost 12 years & she has been a blessing & a light. She has gotten me through some very tough times and has brought much happiness to my life, as well as the lives of others.

As many of you all know Kaiya literally goes everywhere with me. It started by bringing her to the crossfit gym I attended for 9 years. She ran with us, did box jumps, and was basically THE gym dog. It continued with road trips, wineries, restaurants, and to almost all of my work events. Always a patient girl when I dressed her up, entered her in contests or just paraded her around for all to see. She never complained and I think secretly loved it.

She still has so much life & love to give but her body is saying something different.

She means the world to me & I am asking for your help with a donation to help cover the upcoming medical costs Kaiya needs including X-rays, oncology appointments & medications, so that she may live out her last year with me in comfort & peace.
